Safe & Professional Asbestos Removal Services
About Asbestos Removal
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral once widely used in UK construction for its resistance to heat, electricity, and corrosion. Although banned in 1999, asbestos is still present in many buildings and, when disturbed, can release dangerous fibres into the air. Because of these serious health risks, asbestos removal must be carried out carefully and in full compliance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
Ensurve provides fully compliant asbestos removal services to keep homes, businesses, and workers safe.
The Main Types of Asbestos Found in the UK
White (Chrysotile)
Chrysotile fibres are soft, flexible, curved and far less hazardous the Amosite and Crocidolite.
Brown (Amosite)
Amosite fibres are long straight and brittle with a distinctive rod-like shape.
Blue (Crocidolite)
Crocidolite fibres are straight, brittle and often rod or needle like in appearance. The fibres of this blue mineral are extremely thin. This is the most dangerous type of asbestos.
